Delivery Copletion Indicator

dear gurus,

After putting delivery completion indicator in PO document how can system allow GRN? if it is standard then plz given me suggesion how to contral it?

The u201Cdelivery completedu201D indicator specifies whether a purchase order item is regarded as closed.

This means that you do not expect any more goods receipts for this item. The open quantity is zero.

You can still post goods receipts for any residual quantities, but these will not change the open order

quantity.

If you change the quantity of a delivery after it has been posted, the R/3 System does not cancel the

u201Cdelivery completedu201D indicator automatically. It issues a warning message and you have to cancel it

manually.

If an order cancellation or return reduces the delivered quantity to an amount that is below the

tolerance level, the R/3 System cancels the u201Cdelivery completedu201D indicator.

In this case, it issues a warning message to inform you that the u201Cdelivery completedu201D indicator has

been reset. If you do not expect any more deliveries, you can then enter the indicator again manually.

It will not be changed automatically by the R/3 System thereafter.

thanks sir,

ok , if i want to set that indicator as a error message means R/3 system does not allow the GRN for same PO is it possible? if yes ,how?

Hi,

Check the meaage no I think it is M7 061 thenmake it error.

For this GO to SE91 enter the message class and No then press Shift + F8 select the programme and make it error

for this you may need the help of ABAP person

For this you have to find out whether there is any system message defined any system only then you can change the system status.
