I have modified a query and saved it. It is saved in some request. I wanted to know to which request is saved. Please help
Hi Pooja,
Check the UID number in the advanced tab by opening the report properties in the Query designer. Copy that number.
go to SE03 -> Search for Objects in Requests/Tasks -> in second box of object selection, give ELEM. In thye next box give the UID of the query.
check the row. Below there are options for modified and released-> give appropriate one among them then execute--> it will display the request in which the query is locked.

Hi Pooja,
Just follow the steps given by me.. you will get it very easily. Go to SE03 -> click on Search for Objects in Requests/Tasks.
Once you enter this screen, you will find the ones mentioned by you.
PROG Program
FUGR Function Group
CLAS Class - uid entered here
TABL Table/Structu
VIEW View
TTYP Table Type
DTEL Data Element
After DTEL, the next row is the one where u need to specify ELEM. From PROG to DTEL(which are appearing default) don't bother about them, You need not check or mention anything in those first 7 row. (i.e from PROG to DTEL)
In the next row specify ELEM and the UID of your query and press Return key(Enter Key). Make sure you check( the first option in the row) this ELEM row.
Next go to status option (the last one on the page). Check Modifiable and uncheck Released in case you request is not released. Then execute by pressing F8.
Let me know in case if you want anything more.

Hi Pooja,
Go to SE03, and select Search for objects in requests/tasks.
Then, in the object selection empty box select the appropriate type, provide the query technical name, and select Request/Task selection as Modifiable.
Then execute. You will get your transport request no.
Cheers...

Hi,
You can always see the Transport Request (Globally defined for all Queries) at RSA1 -> Transport Connection -> BEx -> Standard BEx Transport Request.
In case if you dont see any request over there, you can collect the Query in Transport Connection and see the Transport Request in the Column next to it.
Regards,
Chathia.
