quality info record mass creation

Hello Guys,

Can we able to do mass creation of quality info records thru QI06 ? I want to load bunch of QIR as a manual load.

I tried using qi06 in add option but I am getting a warning message that QIR is not changed.

Is that only we can change it ? Pls help.

Mass creation of quality info records is possible through QI06.

    Pre requistes are

    1) In material master activate qm procurement key and enter control key with delivery /vendor release.

    Go to QI06,

Enter material, vendor , plant. In add tab enter release until date and other required fields. F8

All recrds will be visible to u, select them and save.

records will be created in back ground.

      Hi sujit,

"You can also select the materials using the material class.

You can enter one or more vendors, for whom a quality information record is to be created.

Using the selection criterion 'Only for purchasing info records', you can create quality information records for all possible material-vendor combinations, provided that purchasing information records already exist for these combinations"

I am not clear with above comments you made . I tried to click the material class and also flagged the only pur info records but nothing is working for me.I am not sure whether I am following you...I want to create qir for multiple material/vendor combination thru qi06..could you please explain me the steps ? I did settings in MM by activating proc data.

Yogi--I am aware of your way but still want to do some mass creation as I have bunch of vendors which really can't repeat the transaction again and again.I understand thru lsmw..we can achieve this but I am out of tht option too.
