I used %windir%\fonts to add Garamond to windows. However, I did not see Garamond in Crystal. How can I add it to Crystal report? Thanks

Fonts need to be registered and drag and dropping or moving a font will not register until the machine has been rebooted.

Do a proper install of the font and it will register it without the need for rebooting.

Good luck,

Brian

I am having a similar problem. I have installed True Type fonts in the correct location on the Crystal Reports Server in the correct folder. I see the new fonts listed with the others. I see the fonts from Control Panel -> fonts

After the installation of the fonts, I exited out of Crystal Reports, re-entered Crystal Reports and the newly installed fonts are not listed with the others.

Please tell me What else do I need to do in order to see and use the fonts successfully?

This is Crystal Reports XI R2 with all of the Hot fixes in place. Thank you.

I ended up deleting the Fonts I added to the C:|windows\FONTS directory. Then, I re-added (rather installed the fonts) using the File --> Install New Font ... option from the pull down in the C:\windows\fonts directoriy window and guiding to where the font file w as placed. In my case c:\TEMP

The file appeared in the list of fonts portion of the Add Fonts frame. I highlighted the font, selecetd ok (make certain that the check mark is in the box next to Copy fonts to Fonts folder), and selected ok.

This worked for me much better than the drag and drop or copy and paste.
