Looking for "SAP NetWeaver CE 7.1 SR5 Production Edition on Windows: MaxDB

From this URL (http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/nw-ce-general#section9) there is a link to "Installation Guides - SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment 7.1 SR5 - Productive Editions ", which brings me to a page (http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/80653293-da1c-2b10-3687-918d6323b728) that has a button to view "SAP NetWeaver CE 7.1 SR5 u2013 Production Edition on Windows: MaxDB", but that button brings me to a document entitled "SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment ‒ Update Guide SP03" (http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/80653293-da1c-2b10-3687-918d6323b728?overridelayout=true), instead. Does anyone know where the actual SR5 Productive Edition installation document is?

Thanks,

William

Hi William,

On the page page you have found (http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/nw-ce-general#section9) there are two other links that might be of help to you:

  • In the table, the cell in the Windows column and MaxDB row holds a link that leads to a page where you can download the installation guide for SR5.

  • Below on the page, in the Updating SAP NetWeaver CE 7.1 section, there is a [SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment 7.1 SP05 Update Guide|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/9077971a-48c9-2a10-3799-bf967a68ed08] link to the update guide for SR5.

Hope this helps,

Rossen

Hi William,

you were right that the to "Installation Guides - SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment 7.1 SR5 - Productive Editions" was wrong on that page. Thanks a lot! We have replaced it by a subheading.

The actual guide you are looking for should be linked from the table as Rossen had already explained.

Best regards,

Jens
