Crystal Report

Dear All,

Our customer has Crystal Report Basic 2008 installed on one of their workstation. They have SAP crystall add-on been installed. Therefore, they can design Crystal report and add it to SAP system. However, they cannot have everybody use the report at the same time. If A open the report, B cannot. Is that a SAP behavior or something wrong with the settings? I remember SAP provide only one license for Crystal Report Basic 2008. Does it mean only one person can use the report? Thanks a lot.

Dear Yuka,

I am afraid it will only allow one user to use the report at one time if you have only one license. Two or more concurrent usages of the application would always involve license issue.

Thanks for the reply. which kind of license file he should buy if he would like to have more people to open the report at the same time? (Not design the report at the same time)

Crystal Report has the separate license on its own. Check out from the portal if you are a partner.

Thanks for the reply. I checked from the portal already. 1 trial license for Crystal report basic 2008 to design the report is good enough. I need a clear answer to 100% make sure which kind of the license they need in order to have the multiple users to run the report in SAP (Not design the report). If possible, I would like to send our customer the link to let them know.
