business object enterprise (email a report) configuration not found

Hello Experts,

I took over existing installation of business object enterprise and there are some reports designed in cr xi. I able to work on new reports, add thru bo console and schedule it for delivery in pdf format. Everything is fine.

There are few reprots which are already emailed at certain time of the day. When I look at these report thru bo console, open the report and there is nothing configured for report schedule, delivery and format etc. At the same time in the history I see this report runs every day and get emailed.

Now we want to change the time of report and other information, i'm not sure what is the other place to look at for delivery settings, format setting etc. I thought everything will be possible thru Business object enterprise console but it is not there.

Can someone guide me where I can see that kind of information and configure the report paramters?

I'm guessing you want to recreate the schedule (with one or two changes) and require the necessary info to build the schedule?

You should be able to get most of the current attributes by looking at the details of the recurrence under the history tab.

click on history, one of the instances will be marked as recurring. click on recurring.

note the details

Then under schedule, destination - add the destination details as per th notes above, click on update.

Under schedule, add the schedule details click on update

Under schedule, format, set the format options and click on update.

Basically, by clicking on update the schedule settings will be stored against the object.

Thanks for providing me the place to look at this report delivery settings.

Yeah clciked the recurring in the history and got the schedule information. But I'm wondering when I open the report in bo console why I don't have that information. It doesn't show the schedule, destination and format information.

From the recurring settings, I can reconfigure the reportt but my question is at this point where these settings are coming from.

Do I have to reconfigure the report?

I have no idea.

Yes, you need to reapply the settings and click update. It may be whoever created the schedule didn't update the schedule info.

Once you click update, the settings should remain in tact. You don't necessarily have to recreate the schedule.

you might want to set the refresh options to prevent default parameters, database logon information from being overwritten next time the object is overwritten.
