validation for G/L balances

Hi folks,

we have a requirement where user wants to get error message when they are trying to post negative amount due to which the total balance goes into negative.

Can i write a validation if yes what would be the logic to be used . I am on new G/L

please provide logic for the same & user exit name if we are using FB01

Hi,

You can create a validation for the negative posting and include the codings in the program RGGBR000 under the user exit.
