Foreign Currency Valuation vs FBL3N (GL Line Item Display)

Hi SAP Experts,

I just have some few questions about Foreign currency valuation and Line item display. Does this total of the gl account (amount in local curr) is also the same in the amount generated in F.05 (fr curr valuation)?

What are the keypoints that I need should be aware while generating F.05?

Thanks,

John

      hi ,

kindly note that foreign currency valuation is mainly used for valuating documents posted in foreign currency (i.e other than company code currency ) during the valuation any loss or gain is posted to the appropriate accounts . hence if documents are posted in local currency then valaution of the accounts will not happen .

the balances in FBL3N is will be gneral g/l acount balances and the foreign currency valaution accounts will be different than the g/l accounts
