Hi,
I need to design a layout where I have two objects overlapped. One object is a text object and the other is a sub-report. The sub-report is an embedded one but I have disabled the u201CCan growu201D option due to a requirement I have. So when the report is previewed one canu2019t see there is a sub-report unless they move the mouse over it. For this I need to add a text object so that is on top of the sub-report so that when they move the mouse on top of the text object they will know there is a sub-report there. I have designed the report so that both the text object and the sub-report has same x and y coordinates, but then previewing it will not get overlapped. It will first print the text box and then the sub-report right after that. (E.g. Test Text [sub-report] - The Y coordinates are correct but the x coordinates are different). How can I print the text on top of the sub-report? Iu2019m using Crystal Report Designer XI R2 for this.
Thank you in advance,
Chanaka
Hello Chanaka,
Right click on the section that the subreport is in now and select insert section below.
Place the text object in the section below and set the original section that the subreport is in to underlay following sections.
