Hi,
My client is using Punching machine system for recoding Employee Timings...
How do u integrate that with SAP HR?
The client wants the IT's to be updated on a daily basis?
What are the config steps that Functional Consultants need to do in it?
Thaaks in advance
Tarun
Hi ,
You can refer to standard report RPTEUP10 to upload time events .
It is better to go for Z developments as per the requirement.

Hi,
What timing strategy are you adopting with?
If you are dealing with positive timing using P2002 attendance infos, punching machine system should provide attendance records in format of P2002.
If you are dealing with positive timing using time events, punching machine system should provide time events records in formate of IT2011(TEVEN).
It may like this:
PERNR(8)----
Personal number
ZAUSW(8)----
IC card number
TERID(4)----
terminal ID
SATZA(3)----
time type(In/Out)
LDATE(8)----
recording date
LTIME(6)----
recording time
DA(1)----
day assignment(optional)

u need build the interface between the tme machine and the SAP system
once the interface is ready u need to upload the data into IT2011 time Events
and for doing this u also need to main tain IT0050 time recording
more than fun work technical work will be more

Hi,
if you're using negative time management why do you need the punching times?
Negative TE is all about recording just the deviations and not all the time events.
Wilfred.
PS.
Like's been said: IT0050 is required. Tabel TEVEN is temporariry storing the punching details after which they will need to be forwarded to IT2011
