Dear Experts,
My client want a scenario, in which PP work center is also defined as PM equipment. He is also using Capacity leveling and scheduling of PP order. He want to capture time required for PM order for equipment, those total available capacity of work center is reduced due to that PM order. How to map this scenario in SAP.
Regards,
Rajesh.
HI
while creating the euipment thru IE01 under location tab you have to define the WC whers this euipemnt is attched.then create the maintenence order for the euipment then only system will not allow to do capacity plaaning or leveling for the period for which equipment is under maintenence
Plz check at your end

Hi
While creating the equipement ( IE01 t.code) you need to specify the PP workcenter in location tab page under location data.
For exmaple one workcenter you are going to do for the maintenance so you need to block the worrkcenter form planning of capapcity. So create the plant maintenance order uisng IW31 t.code in that assign the same laoction which you created earlier. So the work center will bloked from the capapcity planning.
When you doing creating the production order or doing the capapcity planning the workcenter will not include for the planning.
Thanks

hi
You have to specify the PP workcenter in the Equipment master data in location tab ,and while creating the maintenance order specify the system condition has Not working and then while creating the process/production order you can find the maintenance order number in the planning table

Dear Tyagrajan,
Thank you for your prompt reply.
My client do preventive maintenance (time based) every alternate days,.2.5 hrs is the maintenance time for that particular work center (equipment). While doing production order planning for month,he is not able to do capacity planning correctly.
The above said answer will bock capacity planning for that, particular work center till the PM order is not confirmed.I hope you got where I am lacking.
Dear please help me regarding the same.
Regards,
Rajesh.
hi
in standard it won't block the workcenter ,you can only view the in the capacity planning board of maintenance order and produciton order .i think there is some user exit for production order to check the same while saving or releasing the order.you can search in this forum ,i think the same requirement has been satisfied with the user exit

Dear Pushpa,
With PM order you have PP work center and system condition is 0(not in use). While restricting the PP order, where I can find the system condition.Or is there any other way to do the same. For user exit I will required system condition in PP order,to restrict the same.
Regards,
Rajesh.
Hi Rajendar,
I believe the logic should be in this way :-
1. First you can check for particular order types PM01,PM02 etc existing at the same start date and time as of production order .
2. Now if you have ex some PM orders in the production order period then you can get the PP work center from routing of the production order to some internal table and for each PM order you can take the refe object [eqpt no ] and get the PP work center of the eqpt from EQUI table and if the work center from Production order and work center of the eqpt no mentioned in PM order matches then you can stop the release of PP order and popup a message to the user ..regarding the reason for the blockage of release.
You can sit with an ABAPER and investigate more on this part ..
regards
pushpa
