Committed qty changes when reqmts qty changes in the order?

Hi,

My question is that why commited qty changes when we change the requirement qty in production order.

For example, material A has stock of 495 kg, in the production order,

if requirement qty is 495, the committed qty is 495.

if requirement qty changes to 496, the committed qty is 495.008

if requirement qty changes to 497 or 498 , the committed qty is 495.012

and when changes to 499, committed qty is 495.008 again.

Why the committed qty changes as per requirement qty?

Thanks in advance!

Dear Wesley,

based on the availbility of components, system proposes requirment quantity & comitted quantity

in ur case their must be some quantity of raw material availble.

based on this system is changing the comitted quantity.

Hi, kumar

I don't understand what you mean that there must be some quantity of raw material available.

In my case, the stock only has 495 kg, and in CO09 i can see the ATP qty is exactly 495.

I just don't know why the 0.008 and 0.012 appear when requirement qty changes.

In my opinion, since the ATP qty is 495, then whatever the requirement qty is , committed qty should be 495 but not 495.008 or 495.012

Hi,

In co09, which checking rule are you using ? Also can you provide more details as per co09 & md04, what is the total stock & the requirements you notice ?

If possible, please upload a screenshot of co09 & md04, which will help for a better understanding of the issue.

Hi, Vivek

in co09, i am using checking rule PP, dependent requirement and planned order are not taken into account.

so in md04, since it also shows dependent requirement and planned order, so it's quite hard to find the clues.

could you pls tell how to upload the screenshot in this forum?
