Creation of asst -- Error - Message no. AA198

hi,

I am trying to create a asset. But i am getting the error as "The multi-level method of phase N1 in depreciation key ZAPR has not been correctly maintained for acquisition year 2009." and "Correct the multi-level method of depreciation key XXXX". Can anybody suggest how to rectify this error? Thanks.

Hi Sumana,

First set your COD with OAPL.

Then go to AFAMA and select your dep key

And double click on assignment of calculation methods

Here check, which multilevel method is assigned to your dep key

And double click on multi level method field (you will be derected to multi level method config screen)

Double click on levels

Here check what you have given for the fields acq Year, years, periods

Normally they should be 9999, 999, 12.
