cancellation of material document not possible

Hi,

when user is trying to cancel mateirla document it shows 3 errors.

1)Approval workflow not found

2)cancellation of sub qty is not possible

3) item cancellation not possible because return delivery quantity <>0

i have checked the bbp_pd.

Status:

Header I1015 awaiting approval X

0000001 i1111 item in transfer process X

this shopping cart was cancelled twice and when ancel for the third time we atre having this problem.

kindly guide me how to procedd

Hello SUbbu,

please look into the SC,if an invoice is posted for it,system will not allow to cancel the Material document

Does your shopping cart have any follow-on document ?

If yes, you can not delete your SC.

my SC is having follow on documents.i have cancelled it twice also but wehn i am cancelling for the third time.i am getting the error which i have updated in my previous thread

SC or follow-on document ? What is the follow-on document type (Bid Invitation, PO ?)

Hi Subbu,

1) where do you post the confirmation - in SRM or R/3?

2) Are you trying to cancel the material document in SRM or R3/?

3) If you post the confirmation in SRM, then first check whether the confirmation has been replicated to R/3 before trying to cancel it in SRM. If the confirmation does not exist in R/3, then check table BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB in SRM & delete the appropriate entries. Then try to cancel the confirmation in SRM.
