Hi,
I have created PRT and assigned it to routing, also made necessary settings for availability check of PRT during order creation & release. I created a many new order in the same period system is showing no availability of work center but showing all PRT are available.
Tell me what did i missed .

Dear SAP13072009,
The usability of PRT and the availability check for PRT during order creation or release may not be successful or proper in PP
Module.
In my understanding availability check will be complete only for the materials.
May be by some work around,you can track the life of the PRT and usage values also.

If you want to monitor stock and check availability then create PRT as material , material type FHMI and then use it either in BOM or assign in routing .

Hi dear,
I am agree to what mangal raj said above, as per my knowledge as well as expericance with same issue , it will not work as it work in case of materials,
you can have some work around like lock the PRT if its being used in some order so practicaly as well as in system it will not be available.
