webintelligence document not getting scheduled in SAP edge standard 3.1

Hi all ,

i have installed the BO edge standard 3.1 but facing some problems.i would really appreciate if someone can help me in fixing the issue.

i am facing the following problems:

1) webintelligence tier diagonostic test failed

2) Under document list in infoview I am not able to create new webintelligence document .

3) Another thing in the central configuration manager the WinHTTP Web Proxy Auto-Discovery Service is not there .

Hello Abid,

under which user you try to create the WebIntelligence Document? As Administrator ?

If you did a basic installation you will use the Tomcat for HTTP. The WinHTTP Proxy Service is a Service from your WinOS. Could be that it is not installed with your Windows OS.

thanks for the reply

when i am trying to create new webintelligence document .under document list when i am clicking the new , i am not able to see the webintelligence document over there in infoview. i am using the administrator as user which is having the full access.

another thing is when i am running the diagnostic test the webintelligence tier failed

can u tell me the link where i can download the service WinHTTP Web Proxy Auto-Discovery Service?what is the use of that service . i would really appreciate

Hello Abid,

that Service is part of the WinOS and you can download and instasll it seperatly. But you dont need that Server to operate the BO Web Applications prpberly.

Just a little idea about the WebI issue. Try the following:

Log on to InfoView -> Click on "Favorites" -> From there try "New" -> "WebIntelligence Document"

i clicked on favourites from infoview but i am not able create a new webintelligence document and diagnostic test of webintelligence tier is also getting failed.

Hi Abid,

please check your license key in the CMC and post what for a Product is licensed (Please post not the key).
