Web Application Designer Question

I have written a query which works fine in Bex Query Designer.

Query has 3 variables where one can enter input, and then results are shown in Tabular form.

Now I want to run this in Web application Designer.

I chose a blank template. Then placed a List Box and an Analysis Web Item. Data Provider for bot web items

Is query. When I execute web template, it does not show me the input screen for variables and goes straight to showing results of the report. Obviously something is wrong in mapping of Listbox to Data Provider query.

How does one debug WAD?

Hi,

In the WAD, select the "Web Template". To ensure you have selected the web template, in the "Properties" pane (normally at the bottom left hand side), make sure the drop-down list is showing "Web Template".

Under property group "Behavior", make sure "Display Variable" is checked/selected. This will force the variable screen to be displayed everytime you run a query from a web template.
