I know when a query is executed, e.g., in BEX Query Designer, query shows the results; then one can sort the output on various columns.
Is there a way where I can specify what is the sort order in query itself, e.g., on certain key figures.

You can use conditions in query for sorting by Key Figure.
use Top N to sort in Descending order and Bottom N to sort in Ascending order while creating the condition.
