Hi

In Equipment you can input Partner determination to Note to whom the equipment is sold (Sold to Party) or Shipped(Ship to Party ) & Person Responsible(Company HR assignment) .

So when ever any Maintenance request comes from Customer , while Creating Notification or Order you can check to whom equipment is sold & to which Person you need to inform to Carry out Work.

Alternatively the Person responsible can check is there any work to carried by him by using Partner function.

2. If you want to assign a person to the Order , How you can do , One way is to Use individual work Center for each person & Second way is to Use Partner function & third way is to go to each operation -Assign Personal number to each operation.

in this if you want to assign only one person to number of Operations in Order , you do with Partner determination Procedure as you generate capacity requirement for person assigned.

Regards,

Hi Amit ,

A partner determtion prodedure in which you can specifies how, when, and from what sources the system determines partners in a business transaction, what partner functions are mandatory or suggested in this transaction, and what rules apply to these partner functions. It describes in which business function a business partner is used

Before you make the allocations, the possible partner determination procedures must be defined.

When you allocate a partner determination procedure, you are simply defining the possible partner functions. If you have defined mandatory functions in a partner determination procedure, the system will try to assign values to the mandatory partner functions.

Standard system includes predefined partner functions, and you can also define your own in Customizing for Partner Processing.

In Plant Maintenance for each equipment categeory you can determine the following Partners

Department resp.

Vendor

Position resp.

User responsible

Person respons.

For Notification and Order if you define a partner in Equipment master the same will reflect in order.

With Partner determination function you can define within the equipment master that which department or position or person is responsible for this equipment, means it uses the centralized data of MM, HR to further link your equipment master data.
