change material in PO IN CASE OF MRP RUN

Hello

can anybody tell me when i run the MRP & the PR is generated now i want to change the material in PO but when i do that the link of PR getting deleted from, the CO46, & PO Item is also not coming there? why

Hi,

PR & PO is based on the material no only. Based on the net requirement the system will generate the PR. If you change the material, then in the next MRP run the system will do the net requirement calculation. If the reqd material is available in the stock, then it will not create any PR or PO.

Hi

First change the quantity in PR and then change the PO, so that the link willnot get delete.

but i m not changing the qty in PO, i m changing the item in PO, in tht case it will allow me to change it but my outbound delivery is not getting generated.y?
