Hi SAP Gurus,

Want to know the use of PV01 transaction and required information in this step to execute Rebook attendence.

Please help me.

Hello Neeta,

Good Day !

You create a rebooking if an attendee booked for a business event wants to change the date of the booking. This involves creating a new booking for the new event date for the same event type. The original booking is automatically deleted.

You can rebook all bookings of an attendee.

You can rebook bookings with any booking priority.

You can partially or completely rebook group attendees.

You can transfer the settlement data of the original booking or change it by choosing Book/Payment Info.

The same checks are carried out as for bookings.

Regarding Transaction PV01

Enter PERNR and the selection period > Enter Again

It will list the booked business events for this PERNR

Select the BEvent dates from the list for which PERNR is to be rebooked

Click on Rebookings Offered

Based on period, it will list the business events on which that PERNR can be rebooked

under business event catalog

Select the line of desired event date from the available dates

and save

It will rebook the PERNR on another date under the same business event type

Hi Chetan,

A very good day to you!

When i am following your suggestion:

In PV01 when i give PERNR the BEvent list related to that PERNR has come but for these events if he is already booked then what is the use of Rebooking? as you told if I make chages into period for that BEvent no list has come and system is asking for "Select a business event". I am not able to change period also.

Tell me what can I do?

Hi Neeta,

PV01 is used for re-booking the participant to another business event. Before doing this he should be first all booked to any business event, and also the other business event to which you want tho rebook him should also be available.

In the REBOOK ATTENDANCE screen, enter the PERNR. In the selection criteria select the dates. This will show all his bookings with he business events listed. Select the business event which you want to rebook and click on Rebooking offered. This will list all the available business events, select the event in which you like to rebook and save.

With Transaction PV01, the participant will be rebooked for some other business event date.

Yes this is right that the PERNR should first be booked to any business event, and also the other business event to which you want tho rebook him should also be available.

Hope this information helps.

Please also follow the rebook attendence in the help.sap.com link which I gave you earlier. That will help you better understand how this functinality.

For example, if you have any PERNR - say "1245" booked on an event date 02.04.2009 under an event type "XYZ" and there is one more event under this scheduled on 15.04.2009. Say, if there is already a booking of a PERNR (attendee) on 02.04.2009 and if you want to rebook the PERNR (attendee) on 15.04.2009, you may follow the steps described in my first reply using the transaction PV01.

Hi Neeta,

Here is an example :

Say PERNR "1245" has booking on 02.04.2009 under event type "XYZ"

Transaction PV01

Enter "1245" and the selection period 01.01.2009 - 31.12.2009 > Enter Again

It will list the booked business events for this PERNR

i.e. 02.04.2009 and 15.04.2009

Select the BEvent date 02.04.2009 from the list for which PERNR is to be rebooked

Click on Rebookings Offered

Based on period, it will list the business events on which that PERNR can be rebooked

i.e. 15.04.2009

under business event catalog

Select the line of 15.04.2009

and save

It will rebook the PERNR "1245" on another date (15.04.2009 ) under the same business event type
