Do you have any idea if ASM (Automatic Storage Management)

is supported and certified by SAP in Oracle 10g ??

ASM (oracle 10g) not supported by sap.

Please check the below note

Note 105047 - Support for Oracle functions in the SAP environment

In point 4 of the above note, it is clearly mentioned that in oracle 10G SAP does not support ASM, however they are planning to do it in Oracle 11

How did you look for it?

When I type in "oracle asm support" into the search field in the upper right corner of this very webpage, the first hit is the "SAP Note 105047 Support for Oracle functions in the SAP environment" already mentioned by Depdeep.

Quiet strange that you did not find it...

just enter "oracle asm" in the search field. Planned Oracle 11g support is late 2009 / early 2010.
