Hi all,
we work in our Company with SAP BW and create our Queries with BEx-Designer or more and more with Eclipse (Neon.3 Release (4.6.3)). Normally, there are all sorts of key figures in the query. How do you do the metrics and document the solution? Is there a way to store information or comments on the key figures directly in the query (with BEx or Eclipse)?
In my opinion, documentation is essential and everything else (notes in Excel, OneNote, etc.) is not effective and very quickly confused. Thank you for your tips and opinions.
Best regards
Jean-Pierre
You can find the details of query definition from RSRTQ tcode,
Please refer this blog for more details,

Hope it helps!
Thanks,

Hello Bhavin,
thank you very much for your answer. I'm sorry, but you don't understand me correctly. Probably I have ask the question not very detailed.
I will try it again. 🙂 I mean the description of the content from the key figures. I made a new key figure with a new calculation, for example the sales revenue without additional costs. How do you do the description from the calculation in the query, respectively from the key figure? For the understanding and later I would like to keep the considerations for the key figure. I can do this for example in Word or Excel, but this is not very helpfully and confusing. I would like to capture it directly in the query.
Thank you very much for your support.
Best regards
Jean-Pierre
