Integration_directory_hmi not working

Hello,

The RFC for IINTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI is not working in our PI 7.1 environment. We are getting a "500 Internal Error" when we test this in SM59. We are also unable to get a successful refresh using SXI_CACHE. We have verified with Help.sap.com that the PIISUSER has the right roles and the user id and password are correct.

The details indicate we should check the webapplicationexception log. Where can this be found?

Any ideas as to what is causing our refresh to fail?

Thanks,

Matt

Thank you for the link to the guide. Also I checked the cache notifcations and saw some red flags.

Solution:

First we had a user id and password expire because it was set imporperly. Once we fixed that we were still getting an error while testing this RFC in SM59. Here's what we found.

In SDN, I found the following statement:

go to SM59 and test the RFC. the parameter should be /dir/CacheRefresh it must return you an http 500 error (REQID not found)--> OK

Apparently the 'Test connection' normally ends with the 500 Internal Error. So I reran SXI_CACHE in A06 and then did a complete cache refresh in ID. It all appears to be working now.

Thanks,

Matt

Hi Matthew,

please go through the below document--

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/c0332b2a-eb97-2910-b6ba-dbe52a01...

and also check your SICF settings and the port used in ICM through SMICM

thanks

The connection is working but Cache is not refreshed rite?

Can you go to IR & ID & check Environment --> Cache Notificaitons. Problems tab...

Do you have anything in red there?
