ECC6 Leave request workflow : cancellation

Hi expert,

For the leave request workflow, I do all the necessary configuration (in spro) and the workflow is triggered correctly . I

have 2 approvals step in my workflow and forthe cancellation i have a problem.

1.In fact for the cancellation scneario, how is working in the standard leave request ?

2.In fact i have to do that ==> in case of one approval ==> send mail to the first approval

in case of total approval ==> we have to delete the absence in the background and send mails to both ?

How can do that please ?

I think creating a table which will contains the Request id , version no and the status (complete approved, partially approved) but when we launch a cancellation scenarios, the req id and version no of the new document is differnet ==> so we can't check the status of the document (completly approved or partially appoved or not yet approved at all) ?

Can you help me please ?

    Hi kraiem adel

For your information for cancallation the status would be withdrawn. Kindly do the checking like this. Tagg the std workflow for cancallation. Check it once it will be surely the reqeust id would be same. No different request id for cancalletion. Check this. The tables are PTREQ_HEADER,PTREQ_ITEMS,PTREQ_ATTABSTAB.

    • Hi Gurprit

You are totally wrong. That link which you have given is absolutely wrong which is very old. The question is asked about cancellation not the design of the workflow. Not only that the link which you have given is totally wont suit for the ESS leave request. The link which you have shown is event based. But the question asked about the config based question.

    Hi Expert,

    I will re-explain my question.

In ECC6, int the template WS12300111, we have a step 'wait for status change '. This step wait untill the status change to cancel/ posted or with error.

I presume if the user cancel the request before this one is posted and saved in the backend==> the request will be deleted.

But If the user delete the request after this one is saved in the backend what will happend ?

There is a new workflow launched ?

it's the same workflow how will be launched ?

Have I to create a new workflow to delete the record absence from the backend or i can use the same as fo create absence ?

    Thanks.

    Hope i m clear .

      HI,

when the associate delete a leave request, the cancellation workflow is triggered so it's ok. but the document id is different ?

As i said i had two approval steps and i store the approval status in a table . but as the doc id is not the same, i can't check if the leave request is partially or totally approved ? any ideas ?

I create method using the FM PT_ARQ_REQUEST_EXECUTE with the parameeters needed (request id, pern and modus and command) but i have an error "no ncustomizing for status ARQ,s tatus posted event delete " ==>
