Deletion of sales order

Hi,

I have a sales order that is created automatically with the help of inbound IDOCS.

I am unable to delete it and it throws a message This document cannot be deleted whenever I try to delete it. (Message no. V1006)

There is no subsequent documents to this sales order.Is there any way I can delete it?

Hi,

Sales orders, like many SAP documents, can't simply be deleted. Your best bet would be to reject the order as someone said, but if you really need it out of your active system, you can archive the order to remove it. Archiving is a fairly straightforward process, and there are many threads regarding it in the forums if you do a search.

Upto the issue now, i strongly beleve that the order cannot be deleted rather can be blocked with a reason for rejection so that i further this will not be reflected.

Hi

Please check the message in SE91.

And as per the message if there is any subsequent document then you can not delete the same. However as per your message there is NO susequent document, pl. check again, and if so then try to REJECT the order by entering a Reason for Rejection in that Sales Order.
