Time-dependent Hierarchies and validity interval

Hy expert's, i have this important question:

i would load a time dependent hierarchy but i find that the validity interval must be specified on Infopackage properties ( Hier. selection). So, if i want to load automatically, by a process chain, this hierarchy, i must first change the validity period on infopackage; It's possible to define automatically, with for example abab routine, the field valid form and valid to?

Please cheack the following for cache proble.

Check the notes 1136163, 1138864, 1146957, 1179076.

In case of no other solution, You can use program RSR_GEN_DIRECT_ALL_QUERIES with proper variant for query generation. You can automate this process using a process chain.

Hi Andrea,

Yeah in the info Package ther is an option for 'Dynamic Hierachy Selection'. In here you will be able to add your code for your date.

I presume you are on BI 7.0?

In your infor package which loads hierachies, under the 'hierachy selection' tab, there is a button 'dynamic hierachy selection'.
