Upload a Flat File to BODS

Hallo,

I have a sandbox system for testing BODS and created a new repository.
I tried to upload a Flat File, but became this Error message:

|Data flow DF_FF_FF|Reader File_Format_2105__AL_ReadFileMT_Read

Cannot open file <C:/ ... .txt>. Check its path and permissions.

Can someone tell me how to put my FF for testing on the Server? Have I an alternative way?

Hi Andrzej,

you created a schema for the file right? And there it is possible to preview the data?

The failure you are getting, is a clear note for problems with the permissions. Check the data access rights for background-users. Which of your users is permitted to access this file and do you also use a user like this (consider e.g. Windows Authentification).

What is the syntax of how you are trying to move the flat file? Are you using DS scripting? Is your server on linux? YOu can use scripting to either ftp or move the flat file, check the data services reference guide for ds scripting information.
