customer creation problem

while creating a customer in xd01,i find that after entering the country and clicking enter, the entry is missing and system is throwing an error message---"Fill in all required entry fields."

i would like to clarify.country is a manadatory field and region is not.i have entered the country.then i clicked "enter".then the country entry disappeared and the system throws the above said error maessage.

Check the country code you have entered there might be wrong you can use F4 and select the correct country

Hi Phani,

Region can also be a mandatory function but it matters as per the Different Organization Scenario.I suggest you to go to OVT0 with your Account Group and check the mandatory settings against General Data. Here you can make them optional.

Thanks for your suggestion.I have checked all the entries and all are fine .The moment I enter 'IN' and click 'enter' the following error message is displayed----

---

"Incomplete address; enter country".It is strange that after i enter the country it gets disappeared and throws this error message.

If I am not wrong , you are entering Country "IN" in Tab Street Address .There is a Box "More Fields " , click this one and see either any of the Mandatory Box is there or not.

Please check for F4 help and try to select from that. If not working then as your ABAPer to check whether or not any user exit implemented for the same.

Please check for the customer account group again and try to reset the customer country code and try again.

Also check for the company code- country assignments

If this still aint working then i reckon u will have to have a use exit implemented for the same.

Try creating for some other customer for the same company code and country.If its not working then am sure u should go for an ABAP'er for user exit. Try sending the screen shot so that we can have a better view

Check whether the REGION field might be mandatory you might have overlooked.

Kindly check after entering Country in XD01,either any checkbox with mandatory tick is there or not.

It will not allow to save & go to new screen without entering the mandatory field.
