Leave Request

Hi All,

We have encontered problems in filing of leaves for those on employees on c-shift (2200 to 0600) work schedule.

Background of the Problem:

We are filing our leave via ESS through individual or batchfiling (costomized role we have created assinged to selected user so they can file leaves, OT etc., on behalf of the employees). When filing for wholeday they dont put start time and end time so the system captures what's on their work schedule. For employees on A-shift (0600 to 1400) and B-shift (1400 to 2200) it is working well but for employees on C-shift (2200 to 0600) the system puts time (2200 to 2400) resulting to incomplete payment of absences.

Could anyone know how to correct this?

Thanks,

Gina:)

Hi Siddharth,

The HRSIF is set at 0 and the status is active. How can I stop the generation of clock times using V_PTARQ_PROCESS?

Please advise.

Thanks,

Hi,

The table name is V_PTARQ_TPROCESS not a "V_PTARQ_PROCESS'

When you disply this View you can find the "Rule Grups"

Select the Rules Groups that your using

click up on "Details"

"In the Record Partial-Day absens in :" you can do the same by giving "Hour".

in the same table you need to check the rules Grups .

check where you all shifts employee exists in the same rules grups...

you need to check the Rules grups other than "SAP Standard"

Thanks, I just did but it did not capture the daily work schedule of the employee, 2 hours absences reflected in 2001 instead of 8 hours. Maybe I just need to look at other configurations.

Thanks for all the responses.

Set the HRSIF to 1 and not 0, It will solve the issue

In this feature, you specify whether the fields for clock times remain

initial (value '1') when absences or attendances of less than one

workday are recorded with a number of hours only (no clock times), or

whether clock times are derived from known data such as the daily work

scehdule (value '0').

Hi Vivek,

There's only one rule grp in the table V_PTARQ_TPROCESS which is the SAP standard.

Hi Siddharth,

I'm consufed with what you said, please check if I get it right.

In HRSIF the setting should:

1 - when absences or attendances of less than one workday are recorded with a number of hours only (no clock times)

0 - if the clock time will came from the daily work schedule

Thanks,

Gina:)

As mentioned earlier, You need to verify in the table v_ptarq_process

the config of the rule group!
