I need to modify SAP Material Hierarchy group.

Can you help me understanding impact of changes?

Hi,

No adverse impact as i said, its a pretty std config just helps you to create grouping for products, in turn you get more options for pricing etc.

Product hierarchy is genarally used by SD to get reports.

Material Grp is genearlly used to get report in MM.

Ucan define ur product hierarchy in TC-OVSV Third radio Button.

I am not sure if you are referring to product hierarchy or something else , if you wnat to configure pattern of product hiererchy then its pretty standard customizing, no adverse impact as such

Configure for Product hierarchy at

SPRO -> IMG -> Logistics - General -> Material Master -> Settings for Key Fields -> Data Relevant to Sales and Distribution -> Define Product Hierarchies
