quotation as a reference for purchase requisition

Hello to everyone,

with the transaction ME57 you can assign an existing contract to a purchase requisition. Is there any similar transaction to assign an existing quotation to a purchase requisition?

    Hi,

No, there is no such a transaction available.

Usually you CREATE RFQs FROM requisitions -> To create RFQs, you must generate a basic list via Requisition ® Follow-on functions ® Assign + process.

A quotation is legally binding on the vendor for a certain period. The quotation is the vendoru2019s response to a request for quotation issued by a purchasing organization. Therefore you can store the prices and terms of delivery from certain quotations in an info record for future accessing.

    Regards,

How can I assign the data of particular quotation to a particular info record?

Because the info record will be updated by different purchase orders, quotations, etc and I would need to assign the data of one quotation to a info record without anymore updates.

    Regards
