Hello Experts,

I'm trying to find out EHS WWI server version by tcode CG5Z [in SAP 4.7] -> Utilities - test server.

It gives a popup with WWI server details.--

[WWIRFCSV-Version : EH&S WWI 3.2 ASCII

Running as Windows Service

This RFC library belongs to the SAP R/3

Versions of SAP internal libraries:

dptr: 2

ni : 37

cpic: 3

rfc : 3

WWI-specific informations :

Windows NT, Version 5.2, Service Pack 1.. and other windows server information]

I was not able to find any version information on WWI directory in Program files on Windows server.

Is there any other method to check version by logging onto the Windows server?

Thanks for the help.

Regards,

Vaibhav

Hi,

As said by EHS you can find the WWI info in WWI.INI file, its stored in WWI directory on the server, You can also refer note " 568302" to know the Current version of EHS WWI and Expert server.

Hello all

distributed with WWI package is the programm WWIINFO.EXE. Running tis program you will get a wwiinfo.txt file generated on your server in which you find all informations regarding WWI version etc.

Based on experiences using WWI you should use if possible always the recent version of WWI available. Normally something like two new versions are released per year. There exists an OSS hint describing WWI and the recent release.

With best regards

Hi,

please check in CG5Z when you test the server the entry "WWI Resolve Version".

This parameter should contain the current WWI version.

Hello,

Thanks for the inputs but as mentioned I am already able to find the version details from SAP.

I need to know if there is any way these details can be found on WWI - Windows server itself.

Thanks,
