Release Strategy releasers considered as the PO u201Ccreatorsu201D in output

Hi All,

It is standard SAP design that in PO release mode, PO final releaser would be considered as the PO u201Ccreatoru201D and the output spool request would be in his/her user ID only.

However our requirement is to make the spool request in actual PO creatoru2019s ID after PO is released.

Please suggest how this can be achieved, either thru Customizing, Exits or Workflow.

Thanks!

Mary

Hi Parag,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I proposed this answer to our user community. However, they do not wish to tell the creator that they have to go back into the PO to print it. They wish the PO to automatically print, after the last release, but with the creator's name on it.

Kind regards,

In this case you need to take help from your ABAP programmer to modify your PO print script coding.

Check your output config for dispatch time.

Check in ME23HeaderMessagesselect output typeclick on Further data button--check Dispatch time it might be maintained as 4 Send Immediately (when saving the application).

If it is there then you can change this default setting in MN04 there for your Key combination change the field Date/Time from 4 to 3.

This means while final approver releases PO, direct PO output will not be executed. And then any person say PO creater can take final output using ME9F/ME90. So that the person's name will be printed who is taking out the print.

Hope this will help you out.
