Lock at Customer level - while clearing, FSCM Dispute or Collections mgmt


We have the following Show-stopper in our project. Please provide inputs/workarounds for this issue

SAP creates a lock at a Customer level while doing the following activities

u2022 Clearing an item

u2022 Creation of a Dispute case

u2022 Working on Collections worklist for a particular customer

As a result of the lock at the customer level, no other user can work on the same customer at the same time.

This is locked at the customer level, not the transaction level. We can support a lock at each transaction being worked, but we cannot have the entire customer locked while a transaction is being worked, since for large customers like Walmart, Target, Supervalu we have more than 10 people (approx.) working on the same account at the same time and cannot afford to have such lockouts at customer level.
