Hi all,
I have a problem with the sort priority in the Dynamic Navigation of Pages.
I have a page with 2 iViews in it. In the Dynamic Navigation I added 2 iViews which are shown directly underneath the Detailed Navigation.
Problem is I want to change the sort. But it´s not possible to do so.
Can anyone help me out?
Thx and Rgds,
Andreas
Hi
sort property works for Toplevel navigation .
incase of role and page what ever the order is there , that order follows in navigation , it wont follow sort order .
open the page select the iview use move up and move down options.

HI,
You can sort any iviews in that page by selecting Page layout option then you can find the iviews that you have added in the page. Then you just need to drag the iview where you want in the page. Please check it.
If you want to sort your pages in left navigation then you need to define the sort priority property of the page. Here the lowere the value Higher the Sort priority. so accordingly you can give the sort values to your pages.

Rahul
HI Rahul,
thx for the quick response.
But your declaration is for the page itself. I use the dynamic navigation of the page. In this wizard I only can assign the iviews, but I have no possibility to change the sort.
Maybe you can update me with your eMail address, than I can send you screenshots.
I read in the portal help guide something that says the sort relies to the id alphabetical. Which means that an iview with the id com.companyname.first is sorted above the iview com.company.second.
Cheers,
Andreas
You can sort any iviews in that page by selecting Page layout option. provided that you have full permissions to that page.
