Hi Friends,

we have SDL generated from ECC60. sp16.Finally end point also generated. The Wsdl file has ws-policy references in wsdl.

when we import the WSDL in external definitions node in IR, its throwing error saying :WS-policy element defined in port types is not supported.

This ws-policy specification is added for PI71 and ce71.we have disabled the option true to false in wsdl. still the ws-policy element is not recognized.

we cannot delete them as such if references any policy references it will be problem.

How to resolve this issue.

Thanks

Chandra

You can safely delete the WS: Policy nodes and import. The WS:Policy let's you know the what type of transport and message authentication and ecnryption parameters you will have to use. Since you are a consumer who is not external to ECC, you know what policy to follow and are going to set up your configuration in directory accordingly.

Shot answer, remove the policy node, import in to IR and consume the service.

Hi

Thnkas for your reply. we habve done same thing for the client.

Still strange i feel why sap is not allowing the tags in xsd, when it isself is promoting ws* specifications.

Thanks
