Error while saving to BOE- Unable to read data from report file

Hi All,

I am getting an error while trying to save crystal report to BOE.

Error

Unable to read data from report file

cause : failed to read parameter object

It takes very long time and finally through this error.

I am using Crystal report 2008. The reports are based on SAP ECC data.

Hi Chetan,

Both CR and BOE must be the same versions. There are new features in CR 2008 that older versions of BOE will not know how how handle the features of the reports.

You may also need to get the SAP plug-in for BOE to work also. Contact our Sales department for more info or if you ahve it for CR then install the plpug in on the BOE server. But post your question or even better, create a support case ( message ) for BOE and ask the Rep how to...
