Export selected user IDs from a client

Hi,

My production client PRD001 has 100 IDs, I would like to only copy 50 of the IDs and create in development client DEV002. Can this be done ?

I know we can export user profile and import to another client, but this will overwrite all user profiles in the target client.

Comment and advice will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Regards,

Kent

Users are not transportable, they need to be created manually in each system (or distributed from CUA - IM)... If you need to create multiple users you can also use CATT.

    Agree with Juan,

export the users in the source client to a excel sheet, use the CATT scripts to load the same into target system.

this would be the easiest procedure.

      Dear Muralidhar and all,

Seems like eCATT is the only way now to create selective IDs.

Thanks for the link. But I get stuck at Part C : Create Test Configuration - step (e), no instruction given on this step and don't know how to get to screen in step (f).

      Anyone used eCATT ?

Advice and comment will be appreciated.

      Thanks.

      Regards,

      Kent
