Open ended customer contracts

Good day experts,

I'm trying to simulate a policy document with a monthly premium in ByD. I'm currently exploring the customer contract, with a service item, as the appropriate object in ByD to represent this. The requirement is an open ended contract, against which I can generate a monthly invoice, to reflect the policy holders premium. The premium value needs to be captured on the contract and can increase annually or on request from the policy holder, so the item price should be able to change on request.

Currently I can't generate an invoice schedule for monthly invoices, due to open ended contract.

If I reduce the period, I'm only able to invoice the contract once, since the service product contains the monthly premium value. So after a single invoice the contract is fulfilled.

I can't use price list, since each individual's risk profile would be different and generate a unique policy premium.

This will all be updated through a 3rd party interface once I can have a successful manual execution.

I would appreciate suggestions on how to model this or how to correctly create a contract to cater for the requirement.

Thanks
