Hello Experts. Is there a way to suppress the '#' sign for a characteristic in the Query? Thank you.
Updated: I'm looking for a solution at the query level and my searches have not returned any results, if one exists here in the forum please direct me to it otherwise I'd appreciate any help anyone can offer.

Hi,
You can define the settings on how the data should be displayed for Mixed result or Null values or Division by Zero values
SPRO -> SAP reference IMG -> SAP Netweaver -> Business Intelligence -> Settings for Reporting and analysis -> General settings for reporting and analysis ->Presenting numeric values in Business explorer
here you define the setting to display Null values/No result as blank.hope it helps
Uday.

Unless you want to eliminate the entire row of data from your report, there is no way to cleanly suppress the '#', for unassigned value, in the query. You could create a Characteristic Restriction to filter out all records where the value is '#' for the given Characteristic if it's desireable to not see those rows of data.
There may be a way to do this in the web template, but I'm not 100% certain of that.
