Hi All,
I Want to delete the Controlling area.
So i deleted all the Costcenter and controlling related Data and while i am deleting the Cost center Group or Standard Hierarchy ( OKEON) system giving error message This function is not allowed in the Standard Hierarchy.
Can any one tell how to delete Standard hierarchy.
Regards,
Hemanth.
Hi,
What's the procedure you are using to delete controlling area? Normally, the program should delete master data by itself when deleting the CoArea.

Hi,
Actually i am following below procedure.
1.FI Transaction -OBR1
2.FI Master - OBR2
3.Delete cost center - OKC4 ( apart from cost center no other controlling data)
4.Delete cost center group - OKEON
5.unassign controlling area from company code - OKKP.
6. Delete the controlling area - EC16
This procedure i followed for 5 company codes and i deleted the data successfully.
But for one controlling area i am not because more than one company code assigned to One controlling area.
So while deleting Cost center group it says This function is not allowed in Standard Hierarchy.
kinldy let me know how to delete this cost center group.

Hemanth.

Hi,
Check the table COBK for any transaction data.If there is any data exists then you cant delete the master.
Use Transaction OKC3 to delete the Transaction Data from the controlling area first.Delete the Planning data too.
Then try to delete the Cost Center Group using KSH2.
Hope this helps you.

goto ksh2 and Extra , where used list. this way you can still see where else the cost center group is attached. After removing all the transaction data, goto Controlling area config and then remove the standard hierarchy. once you do that then you can delete the cost center group.
hope this helps.
