Required .NET Components...

Hello All,

We have a .NET app in our shop that wants to authenicate to java BO R3 instance so it can make opendoc calls (one at a time) into Infoview. We are successfully doing this with several java apps and I would like to get a little feedback from the .NET perspective. My specific question is what are the minimal .NET libraries required functional into in this scenario?

As long as you have XI 3.1 installed you just need to install the Enterprise SDK on the app server/dev box and create a logon token.

We do not have a supported way of getting specific .NET runtimes onto a box, it is an all or nothing proposition.

We already have a java instance of 3.1 installed on a server. Are you saying we need a .NET XI R3 instance installed on the server that the .NET developer is using?

You just need to do a custom installation choosing just the .NET SDK from the Enterprise install media on the developers machine.
