scheduling agreement

I want to creat schedule line after runnung MRP for a particular material.I maintain source list and scheduling agrement for that material.But after running MRP for that particualr material purchase requisition is generated instead of schedule line.Is there anything I need to maintain

Hi Amitava,

As per your case since u have create Scheduling agreement then gotot -Code ME38 for maintaining scheduling agreement schedule.Also note that you wanted to use value 3 for delivery schedule line which is one of the MRP control parameter while running MRP.Now for the materials for which scheduling agreement exists,schedule lines will get generated.

Please try and revert back.

2. check the souce list and fixed vendor has the valid date.

Scheduling agreements

are term agreements/outline agreements made with the vendor. You can create a scheduling agreement manually or using Copy function. Scheduling agreement releases, the actual delivery schedule is issued to the vendor instructing the vendor to effect deliveries of the particulat material on the specified dates.

In case you need to go in for customizations, To configure the relevant settings, goto Txn: SPRO> Materials management> Purchasing--> Scheduling agreement.

1. Define Number Ranges

2. Define Document Types, etc... (Pl follow the node!)

Tcode to create Scheduling Agreement: ME31L

Tcode to create delivery schedule: ME38

Tcode to create an SA Release: ME84.

Other Tcodes, reeports etc can be seen in : Path- SAP Easy access menu--> Logistics --> Materials Management --> Purchasing --> Outline Agreement --> Scheduling Agreement -->

SCHEDULE LINE : is the date at which we need to do the delivery for the product
