can't logon to j2ee engine Visual admin "authentication did not succeed"

Hi all,

I have done integration of BI7 and EP7. now, I can not logon to the visual admin using J2EE_ADMIN."authentication did not succeed"

how to resovle this issue?

If the logon to Visual Admin fails -- Go To Configtool.bat

Found under c:/usr/sap/<server>/j2ee/jc00/admin/config/ configtool.bat

Once this is done .....

Go to UMpropertty Sheets ---> activate the Super Admin Use r and ume.superadmin. and below that you can find the property for password :

this will activate the Super user SAP*

Now logon with the above userID and password as mentioned and Do the necessary changes . Also if the admin account is locked logon to portal and unlock all the users .

Once done ... deactivate the SAP* and again logon to Portal / Visual admin with the Admin user .

try loggin in with Admin user, or any other user ids if u have.

or else take a look @ below note, if u have typed correct password for J2ee_admin user and still authentication failing
