Hi Hanif,

To access visual composer you need to install below softwares.

1. Adobe SVG viewer

2. MXML parser 4.0

Also you should assign the following roles.

1. Super Administrator

2. Standard User

3. VC User

Try this.

And about installing below softwares.

1. Adobe SVG viewer

2. MXML parser 4.0

Can u plz tell where to install these S/Ws , on server or on client side..?

If it had to be install on server then is there any need to deploy *.sda files only of the mention S/Ws components.?

Hi Hanif,

The software which support the VC are missing. Mainly the MXML parser 4.0 . Try installing the same and try again. You will be able to access the VC.

Thanks & Regards,

Vipin.

Basically, these softwares are installed on the client' s PC, that is what we did in our side to access it.

You can also try with Macromedia Flash Player 7.0

It works fine with 'Macromedia Flash Player 7.0'

Its freely available software please go to following link -

http://www.google.de/search?hl=en&q=adobeflashplayer7freedownload&aq=1&oq=adobeflashplayer7

You can try this too.

Thanks & Regards,

Vipin.

Hi

Please check your VC link should be

http://domain:port/VC/default.jsp.

Also you need to install these software on client side & and on your machine. Basically you need to install these softwares on all the machines from where you want to directly access VC.

but still getting the same error

Well Basheer you mean to say we have to install MS XML Parser both on EP WAS and on end user system who access VC ...

Plz clear me on this..and also how to install MS XML PARSER v4.0 on EP WAS..is it like our manual S/W Inst or we need *.sda file of this S/W....

Hy, to develop Visual Composer application you need to install on the client computer :

- MSXML Parser 4.0 --- is present if you are Windows XP

- Adobe SVG 3.0 -- free download from adobe.cm

To access to visual composer storyboard, this is URL address: http://<server>: port of java stack( usually start as 50..)/VC

Try to access at this url and reply this thread with the response message; is possible that the visual composer component is not started as service on the java stack or isn't installed.

The problem is your vc user is not mapped with the BI system. Set the mapping in portal identity management.

What portal role's do you have?

I suggest you to do 2 test:

1) Test connection of your system on Portal:in the Portal, going to Syst. Admin->Syst. Configuration.

Then in the folder System Landscape, you find the backend system available on the VC.So, with te context menù (right click on system) Object->Test Connection.

In the new window select test for : connector and WAS and then select the "Test" button.

2) Control the permission of system definition: context menu-> Object and Permission.

In the window will be displayed the role/group or user authorized to access at system.

Then you should verify if you have this role's on User Administration-Identity Management.

Hi Andrea ..,

Ok. In the Permission , set the Properties End User. Then close the session on VC and try to access on Visual C.

Do you have the super administrator role?
