Hi Venu,

EP system is integrated with portal . and u want to create the ivew.

and u need ITS details correct?

For ITS details

in Portal go to System object -->open >in property category> select Internet Transaction Server(ITS) .

Check have u given ITS details r not.

If not give the ITS details

ITS description : give the name ( better to give logical system name)

ITS host name : u get this details from SMICM tcode in R3

ITS path is :/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui (check in SICF tocde in R3)

Its protocaol: HTTP

once all teh parameters r there test ur system object ..

NOw develop the BI content in portal

ask ur BI consultant to put the reports in 1 role .

u will get the role name from them .

In portal just upload the role and see the iview .

Systemadmin>roleupload>select the system object

search for role and upload

after uplaoding the role

check in content admin > portal content>migrated content>roles>select BI logival system anem folder -->

u will get the role what ever u uploaded.

Hop this will help u .

Ask me if u any more clarrifications.

Regards,

Surekha.

Hi Venu ,

Uploading role concept is R3 side they punt n number of queries in one role .

for each and every report u need to create iview , instead of doing that simply upload the role from backend .

U can get all reports under the role as ivews in portal .

Hi Venu,

To develop BI iView you needs to use SAP Business Intelligence (BI) template for that required fields are technical template name and BI System name.

For your refrence just go through the attached link, you will get fair idea about same.

Venu,

If you have WAD names give like TEMPLATE=WAD Name or if you have query then QUERY= Query Name

Thanks

Hi Venu,

As far as i know, giving access to the BI (templates or quieries) via portal is done by the following way:

You will generally get the template or query link from the BI expert and the only thing we need to do is to create the iview by taking the iView template as BW 7.0 or BW 3.5 (which ever is available) and in the BW template input field the template / query link.

The same template is used for providing access to BI template & query only change needed to be done is if you are creating a template prefix the link as template = ..... if not query then prefix as query = ......

Probabaly in your case you can check by query = ZMM_C02_Q01 etc.,

or you can ask BI expert to provide the whole link of ZMM_C02_Q01 and check with query = .....

Thanks & Regards,

Vipin.
