When clicking eData - I get the following error...

Hi,

I have 2003 Server and when I installed BPC I did not have excel, but later I installed MS Office ultimate 2007 packa and when I tried to open eData from my excel screen I get an error saying 'The System cannot run Data Manager: Object variable or With block variable not set'.

How can I fix this?

Any ideas?

Alex.

    Hi,

the suggested and best way is to have office first and then BPC, as you can easily uninstall and install BPC. Try to install again BPC, hope this works.

Normally this object variable error message comes when the regional settings of the .net server is not in English.

    regards,

    Sreedhar
