Reversal of Production Order

Hello Everyone,

I would like to know is it possible to reverse the production Order? Including the calculation of WIP, Variance & Settlement.

Please brief me about the entire Cycle.

Hi,

As a functionality, yes you will be able to reverse the order settlement. This option will be available in the same settlement screen. As far as the Variance is concerned, when u execute the variance calculation, system just calculates the variance but real posting happens at the settlement level. When u reverse the settlement of the order, variance also gets reversed.

Could you please tell me how to reverse the Goods Receipt ( MB31) and Goods Issue (MB1A) Document? Is possible to cancel production Order ( CO01)?

Dear Sneha,

1.You can cancel the production order confirmation using T Code CO13.

2.After cancelling the production order,102,262 movement will be peformed,nothing but good's issue reversal and the good's receipt

reversal will be happening.

3.Even if there are error movement's in COGI,that also get's cleared once if you cancel the production order confirmation.

4.Also in my understanding if quality is activated after production order confirmation the posted quantity lies in quality stock,and

cancellation is possible only at this stage,if the quality lot is cleared using QA11,then you can not cancel the production order

confirmation(which means the system will allow you to perform CO13,but only 262 will be happening properly and 102 will not be

happening,this 102 error movement will be seen in COGI,so again there are 2 methods to approach this issue).

5.After production order cancellation,if you check the cost analysis in CO03,the total value must be 0.

Check and revert back with your queries.

Its great explanation that you have given here, it is really valuable.

I have one more query on this, when we cancel the confirmation and make reversal of the order, all 102 and 261 takes place consequently a material that consumed for order get reverse and its COST too get reverse from the order.

I would like to know what if electricity used in production how the consumption/cost has effects in system?

and if it is not then how total value becomes a zero?

Please throw some light on this.
